Scooping through the resort collections of many many designers I have the feeling that the resort collection compared to the RTW collections are made with much more flair, fun and less complexity. Summer must definitely be in the heads of most designers, which in my opinion is a good thing. Why take fashion seriously when you can just design along and put another pre-collection in between. Just because you can. I remember a discussion I had with my fellow students who believed that in the future people would focus more in quality instead of quantity, but until that day more and more collections seem to arise. My favourite picks are mostly outfits from Givenchy, since I’m a huge Ricardo Tisci fan (I really enjoyed his issue of Another Magazine and Another blog btw)

I love the building up of the collection; plain black and white with red accents just on the right places in lace or see-through. Not extremely sexy but in my opinion the exact dose of femininity.

I know a lot of people who say leopard print is sooo over, but I love these overdone outfits! Especially the formal leopard jacket is to die for.
