The Spanish fashion label Mango designed a fur coat for their new collection, remarkable, since they signed a petition for the Fur for Animals Foundation (or in Dutch: Bont voor Dieren) to not use fur in any of their clothes. The Coat is also sold at the online shop of Mango.

” What’s wrong with you guys? Using real fur, shame on you. This is the last time I shopped here. I’m done with it, no more Mango for me.” Thus a reaction from an angry costumer. Claudia Linssen, spokeswomen for the Fur for Animals Foundation reacts: ” We will surely contact Mango about the fact. Sometimes a company makes a mistake and uses real fur in the collection, but that’s not really the intention of signing our petition of course. We will ask them to take the fur coat out of the collection.”
Mango is having a midseason sale from 28 october until 14 november with discounts till 50 %, seems like they might need it.
