A PLACE I CALL HOME

A PLACE I CALL HOME

I hope a few of you have noticed: I’m changing the lay out of my blog! Any suggestions are welcome since nothing is set in stone yet (and probably never will haha). Apart from designing many other things for school (and editing the end film for my minor, SO excited!) I came across another, quite dark and moody, fashion film of Norman Cavazzana, an italian/swedisch creative duo (Morgan Norman & Marco Cavazzana).

I love their videos but don’t seem to find a deeper, story-telling layer in most of the fashion films found online. Isn’t that what filming is also about?

Radio Kootwijk Filming Our 2nd Short Fashion Film

Inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus, the man who fell in love with his own reflection in the water and drowned in it, we shot our short fashion film at an amazing location: Radio Kootwijk. We had the great opportunity to actually film inside, a grand gesture of the people who run the place. Build in 1920 by a German architect it is a former radio station which was taken over by the Germans during WW II. For now I will only reveal pictures of the location, since all crews are still filming. Enjoy!
